Dynamic Customer address validation
Revolution is pleased to announce in an industry first the
ability to integrate dynamically to the Australia Post
database for interactive validation of customer addresses
entered. Until now, only suburb and post code could be
validated which resulted in a number of invalid and dummy
addresses being entered, making marketing and follow-up of
customers sometimes a near impossibility.
This new product enhancement to Revolution's already
impressive function rich solution set means that dealers
running Revolution will have an even greater competitive
advantage ensuring that no customer is missing during a
marketing campaign or CSI survey.
This new advanced integration* which is included as a
standard part of Revolution also includes the ability to
perform a batch cleanup of the customer addresses, so that
each quarter when Australia Post is updated, existing
addresses can then be further validated for possible
changes.
If a customer address can't be validated, then Revolution
provides the automatic ability to generate a contact
schedule for a telemarketing operator to contact the
customer to obtain the address correction.
Another great feature is that when a customer address is
validated, the Australia Post unique address identifier
(DPID) in stored with the customer address making
de-duplication of address details and customers a breeze.
The interactive feature will automatically validate the
customer address being entered and if possible will make the
correction often without any prompting for the user.
If the address entered is simply incorrect, then a prompt
detailing the reason why the address entered is incorrect
(e.g. 'no matching street number'), and will display a list
of near matches for the address your attempting to enter
making it so simple to get the details right. ![]()
